We are thrilled to announce that Hallie Liddell, one of our young members, has been appointed as the GBHV team captain for our kids' competition team for 2025. Hallie is a passionate competitor, having gained recognition for her remarkable Jiu Jitsu skills. Not only is she a talented athlete, but also a caring young lady. Hallie has been representing the Gracie Barra team for four years, having competed both nationally and internationally, and currently holds a BJJ yellow belt. We at Gracie Barra are proud to have Hallie as our team captain and look forward to seeing her future accomplishments.

It takes a lot of hard work and dedication to obtain a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt. Professor JJ earned his first-degree black belt alongside Professor Liam, under the guidance of Professor Geno. Our team at GBHV is proud to have produced four homegrown black belts, namely Professor Tommy, Professor Shaun, Professor Jake, and Professor Jonathan, who received their black belt promotions during the GB Oceania Awards Night on December 2nd, 2023. We take pride in the accomplishments of all six of our exceptional athletes and instructors, who together make up the incredible team of instructors at GBHV.
